RT Embedded Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new and sophisticated embedded products and platforms
Design and implement firmware in C language for real-time embedded products
Work on multiple environments of the firmware development


At least 2 years of Embedded Team Leader experience
5+ years hands-on experience in development, implementation and troubleshooting of software (C/C++) on embedded platforms.
Excellent communication skills and writing skills in both English and Hebrew.
BSc in Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, or any other highly quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
Deep familiarity with EMBEDDED LINUX, RTOS such as MQX and multi-threading Applications
Communication interfaces; Ethernet,SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB.
Experience working with Embedded Linux (user space development and debugging, Yocto, Buildroot, low-level drivers).
Experience with scripting and build script
Experience working with GIT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our Tier 3 team, focusing on Embedded Products.
As a Tier 3 Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing expert technical support to our customers, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our products. You will work closely with other members of the Technical Support team, as well as with product development and engineering teams, to identify and resolve product issues.




Develop an in-depth understanding of embedded products and their integration within customer environments.
Provide Tier 3 technical support to customers, resolving complex technical issues and troubleshooting problems related to embedded products.
Take a leading part in building and maintaining an internal LAB for Customer Support needs.
Investigate, simulate and analyze technical issues, identifying root causes.
Collaborate with other technical support engineers, QA and product development teams to resolve recurring issues and improve product quality.
Document technical solutions and knowledge base articles for future reference.
Interact directly with customers to understand and diagnose their technical challenges.
Communicate effectively to guide customers through issue resolution and ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, with a strong focus on embedded systems
Experience with Linux and Windows OS environments
Experience with Embedded Linux (user space development and debugging, Yocto, Buildroot, low-level drivers)
Exposure to embedded system architectures and standards
Experience with communication protocols and interfaces; Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB
Experience with debugging tools and techniques
Experience with remote support tools
Proficiency in spoken and written English at a high level - Mandatory
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organized and excited about technology
